The Gayest Honeymoons in the World -
Seven Great Vacation Spots
Whether you are going on a honeymoon, or just
planning a fun vacation, it makes perfect sense if you are looking for a
place with an acceptable climate where you can meet other like-minded
individuals. There are many gay-friendly places in the world, but there are
a few that stand out as being the happiest, or gayest, place in the world
for homosexual travelers - and no, you will not find Disney World
on this list!
Regardless of your reason to travel, be it romantic,
or otherwise, be prepared to consider each of these areas as a wonderful
option to take the love of your life, or even your buddies looking for some
good times. In these areas you will be able to accommodate both situations.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering, these
cities aren't in any particular order.
Sydney
Sydney is known for their queer areas above
everything else. They are known for many things, some of which include the
trendy events, cultural activities, and attractions. You will be able to
travel Oxford Street and you'll be guaranteed to feel like you fit right
in. This downtown area features everything from excellent night life to cafes,
bars, and everything else you can imagine.
There is a similar area in Syndey's suburb,
Newtown, which has many gay-owned and friendly businesses and clubs. If you're
looking to catch some rays on your vacation Sydney offers two types of gay
friendly beaches; the partial tan, and the all-over tan, so in some areas
you can feel free to go nude, which will add an interesting 'element' to
your vacation.
Right outside of Sydney there are more outdoorsy
experiences awaiting you which include cliffs, valleys, and beautiful crystal
bays. These scenes are beautiful during drives and hikes when you're in the
mood to discover more about your vacation destination. Finally, you might
consider a visit to Byron Bay, which is in the area and is a favorite choice
for gay travelers who are looking to relax and enjoy life.

London
London has sometimes been called the gay capital
of the world. You will be sure to enjoy the large gay scene in the London
area which offers world class shopping, night clubs, restaurants, hotels,
and nearly everything you can imagine to make your vacation one you will
never forget. The gay scene in London is so large it is spread into sections
with each section offering a different feel all its own. London is one of
those places where it is not only incredibly open, which helps to make your
vacation nice, but the area is so historical, cultural, and fascinating on
its own that it's worth the visit if you have the means to travel. London
is usually on every man's travel list at some point in his life, and generally
none are unsatisfied as there is something for everyone!
Paris
Art, music, and culture await you in the land
of Paris. Gay life is alive and well here where the gay area revolves around
the Marais', a set of historical streets, which extend through places such
as the Right Bank, and the beautiful streets of Bohemia. One of the nice
things about the gay area in Paris is that many businesses and clubs in the
area have plenty of straight patrons, too, though the atmosphere is very
comfortable and relaxed. Other than nightclubs, you will have so many beautiful
things to do in Paris that whether you visit the clubs, or not, will not
matter. Take your lover to the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower while staying
in a luxury hotel which allows you to fall in love all over again.
Amsterdam
Amsterdam is a beautifully diverse city known
world wide for its wide array of offerings and attractions. Concerning the
gay scene you will be pleased to know that there are many gay tourists flocking
to the city looking for fun and adventure. If you are hoping to visit a city
with a rich history you will love this one. Amsterdam is also known for the
many entertaining attractions and its old world charm. In Amsterdam you have
your option of something for everyone - from the Red Light District to the
leather bars. You can enjoy certain recreational drugs if that is your thing,
or visit some of the dance clubs, posh restaurants, or historical culture
spots.
Mykonos
The beautiful land of golden sand called Mykonos
is known for its amazing architectural differences, the stylish bars, and
comfortable living arrangements. Of course, the beaches are world famous
and the number one reason why people visit the area. If you are looking for
a great hot spot this is it. You haven't lived until you have had a chance
to soak up the rays near the clear, turquoise waters of the Mediterranean
Sea. There is more than one gay beach on the island. You have your option
of a quiet, relaxing vacation - or a wild time at one of the many resort
style bars and trendy nightclubs. There is so much to do on this island that
it is respected on an International scale for its life and vibrancy - both
of which are waiting for you.
Puerto Vallarta
Although a tiny city, Puerto Vallarta is one
of the most charming, known for its vivid scenery and picturesque views.
You will notice little things that your area lacks like perfect cobblestone
streets and red tiled roofs. This area is known for wonderful residents and
playful tourists. Mexico's west coast has a lot to offer, especially when
you are located between a beautiful bay and the breathtaking Sierra Madre
Mountains. You will have a chance to partake in lazy days on the simple sandy
beaches that go on for miles with scenes of the crystal ocean and the mountains
in the distance. If you are looking for paradise then you have found it.
To add to this paradise are the many gay beaches, gay cruises, and the amazing
gay clubs in the area.
Cape Town
Cape Town is often called the crown jewel of
South Africa. This city is not only beautiful, but it is gay friendly as
well. Here you have the option of amazing culture, glamorous events, and
a firm gay culture to wrap your arms around and embrace. Whether it is day
or night, on the beach or in the club, there is something to do for everyone
and you will be glad you took the time to experience this foreign land. If
you are a nature lover one thing of interest to you might be the Garden Route
which is right off the path of Cape Town and well-known for their fabulous
Safari vacations.
